A hydrogeological database for Honduras

An information system for the management of groundwater data was developed for the government of Honduras. The database design concentrated on close attention to the requirements and skills of the users. The database was implemented using commercially available database languages and programming tools. This allowed a bilingual system closely matched to local requirements to be developed at low cost.
