The thrust is a hanging-wall imbricate of the Lac des Arcs Thrust within the McConnell Thrust Plate. The small imbricate terminates vertically into a cylindrical, macroscopic kink band and laterally by merging with the Lac des Arcs Thrust. Numerical dynamic analysis of calcite and dolomite twin lamellae gives a near layer parallel maximum principal compression and an extension at a high angle to layering, both in the transport direction. The twinning is considered to be late stage. Reorientation of the principal axes occurs near folds and other minor thrusts in the area.
