The conodont Merrillina divergens (Bender & Stoppel) from the Upper Permian of England

Conodont elements have been recovered from English Zechstein Cycle 1 carbonate rocks (EZ1 Ca) from three localities in NE England. Most of the elements belong to the apparatus of a single species, Merrillina divergens (Bender & Stoppel). The systematic concept of this species is revised.
