Class CARPOIDEA

Introduction: The Carpoidea are an unnatural group. Mitrata and Cornuta are more Cornuta are more closely related to each other than to the other carpoids, and the Digitata are probably best placed in the Eocrinoidea.

Order SOLUTA

First, Ord ?Tremad: Undetermined Dendrocystitid, probably L. Tremad (Ubaghs 1963b).

Last, Dev Gedinn-Siegen: Rutroclypeus junori Withers, R. victoriae Gill and Caster, R. withersi Gill and Caster, Victoria, Australia; or "Rutroclypeus" globulus (Dehm) Dev Siegen, Germany (Dehm 1934, Gill & Caster 1960).

Order CINCTA

First and last, Camb M. Camb: Trochoystites bohemicus Barrande (Barrande 1887; Jaekel 1900, 1918; Bather 1913), Trochocytoides parvus Jaekel (1918), both Bohemia; Gyrocystis platessa Jaekel (1918), S. France; Decacystis hispanicus Gislén (1927), Spain.

Order CORNUTA

First, Camb M. Camb: Ceratocystis perneri Jaekel, Bohemia (Jaekel 1900, Bather 1913).

Last, Ord Ashg: Cothurnocystis elizae Bather, C. curvata Bather, Scotland (Bather 1913).

Order MITRATA

First, Ord Arenig: Rhipidocystis baltica Jaekel, U. Arenig, Leningrad region, U.S.S.R.

Last, Ord Carad: R. robusta Hecker, M. Carad, Leningrad region, U.S.S.R. and Estonia (Hecker 1940).

Class CYCLOIDEA

First and and Last, Camb M. Camb: Cymbionites craticula Whitehouse (1941), Queensland, Australia. It is probably an Eocrinoid.

Class CYAMOIDEA

first and Last, Camb M. Camb: Peridionites navicula Whitehouse (1941), Queensland, Australia.

Comment: Probably an Eocrinoid or digitate "carpoid" related to Rhipidocystis.

Class HELICOPLACOIDEA

First and Last, Camb L. Camb: Helicoplacus curtisi, H. gilberti Durham and Caster, California, Nevada (U.S.A.), Alberta (Canada). (Durham & Caster 1963, Durham 1964).
