First, Dev Siegen: Gilsonicaris rhenana Van Straelen 1943, Hunsrückschiefer, Germany (Tasch in Whittington & Rolfe 1963). Opabinia Walcott, M.Camb, may be Anostraca; Rochdalia Woodward, Carb Bashk, is an insect nymph and not anostracan (Rolfe 1967).

First and Last, Dev Siegen-Eifel: Lepidocaris rhyniensis Scourfield, Rhynie Chert, Scotland (Tasch in Whittington & Rolfe 1963).

First and Last, Carb Namur: Tesnusocaris goldlichi Brooks 1955, Tesnus Fm, Texas (Birshteyn in Orlov 1960). Although thought by Brooks and Birshteyn to be the first representative of the present Subclass Cephalocarida Sanders 1955, Hessler (Treatise R ms.) denies this, and the genus has been compared with Anostraca (Tiegs & Manton 1958).

First, Carb Namur: Lynceites cansoensis Copeland 1957, Canso Group, Nova Scotia (Copeland 1957). Protocaris Walcott, L.-M.Camb, (Størmer 1944, ref. in Treatise 0) and Douglasocaris Caster & Brooks 1956, Ord ARenig?, may be ancestral but inadequately known (Brooks in Whittington & Rolfe 1963). Order? Ribeirida Kobayashi 1954, U.Camb-Ord, are not Notostraca but Mollusca Bivalvia (see page 472). Parvancorina Glaessner 1958, Pre-Camb Varang, has been compared with Notostraca (Glaessner 1962) but data inadequate.

First and Last, Jur Hett-Toarc: Iliella, Ketmenia Chernyshev 1940, Almatium, Kungeja, Kysyltamia, Panacanthocaris Novozhilov 1957, Jeanrogerium Novozhilov 1960, Lias, Kazakhstan S.S.R. (Novozhilov in Orlov 1960; Novozhilov 1960).

First and Last, Dev Siegen: Vachonisia rogeri (Lehmann) 1955, Hunsrückschiefer, Germany (Novozhilov in Orlov 1960).

First, Sil Ludl-Dev Gedinn; Asmussia? buchoti (Péneau 1937), Schistes du Moulin de Régereau, France (cf. Péneau 1962). Eoasmussia heintzi Soot-Ryen, Ord Carad, Peltifer Z., Norway, is an isolated earlier occurrence (Soot-Ryen 1960); four genera in Dev Ems (Novozhilov 1961). Camb
